THE PROBLEM
Most organisations introduce AI as something that happens to their teams. A new tool. A new mandate. A new pressure to adopt and get on with it.
And so people comply – reluctantly, generically – in ways that have nothing to do with what makes them specifically brilliant at their jobs.
That’s not transformation. That’s performance.
WHY ME?
My AI practice didn’t start with a course or a pivot. It started at Meta – where working inside one of the world’s most influential tech platforms turned curiosity into conviction.
I spent over a year as ECD across Meta’s international creative function, rolling out AI within creative workflows across seven markets. That experience – watching what happens when AI is imposed on creative teams versus when it’s built around them – is what drives everything I do now.
Through Plain Consultancy and partnerships with D&AD and the Gen AI Academy, I design and deliver AI transformation programmes for organisations that need more than a workshop. Practical, human-first, built for the reality teams are actually in.
What makes my approach different is 25+ years of creative leadership that never lets me forget AI is a business problem as much as a creative one – and a firm belief that a good AI integration makes you more yourself, not less.

HOW I WORK
Three principles, not a programme list
Start with you, not the technology Before tools, before workflows, before anything else – we work out where AI creates genuine advantage in your specific practice. Not in theory. For you, in your work, this week.
Make it a conversation, not a mandate The shift from AI being inflicted on teams to AI being shaped by them is everything. People who understand where AI fuels their work – and what they’re not willing to give up – are the ones who actually change.
Leave you with something that sticks Not enthusiasm. Not a deck. A practical, personalised way of working that’s yours to keep and build on long after our sessions end.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Tom Markham, ECD and VP Creative X, Meta “Becky was the acting Head of Creative for all international markets at Meta… From the moment she joined she was brilliant. She was super smart, diligent, and highly creative… I am very grateful for all her help. Highly recommended.”
Kristine, Spotify North America “Loved being able to take a step back and see AI from a new perspective.”
Phil Scott, Creative Director, Stylistic “Really helpful course. I was unsure about doing it but so glad I did. It has helped reduce fear and motivate me to push forward.”
Rhian Edwards, Creative Director, Uned Studio “An insightful, inspiring session. I look forward to implementing my learning into our team and business.”
A TASTE OF MY THINKING
The teams who get the most from AI aren’t the ones who’ve found the best tools. They’re the ones who’ve worked out what they’re not willing to give up. What to protect. What to fuel. What AI is for in their practice – and what it categorically isn’t.
