Continuing my dedication to diversity in AdLand creative departments,Nic Willison and I spearheaded the pilot of The Girlhood in FCB Inferno. The Girlhood aims to get creative girls from no-traditional backgrounds in to advertising. Using the government systems of recruitment we whittled a long (long) list down to 8 girls, to spend an intensive few weeks as part of the agency. Following this immersion FCB Inferno took on three as creative interns – and they continue to go from strength to strength.
An amazing initiative and great to have been a part of this first stage.
